1. Introduction

3. Payment Terms

3.2 Late Payments

If you fail to make a payment on time:

• A late payment fee may be charged as specified in your agreement
• Your account may be suspended from making new purchases
• We reserve the right to repossess the product(s) if payments are significantly overdue
• The outstanding balance may become immediately due and payable

3.3 Early Payment

You may settle your hire-purchase agreement early at any time. Early settlement may result in reduced interest charges. Contact our customer service team for an early settlement quote.

4. Ownership and Possession

4.1 During Agreement Period

Until all payments are completed, the products remain the property of Patmos Varieties. You have the right to possess and use the products, but you may not:

• Sell, lease, or transfer the products to another person
• Use the products as security for any loan or debt
• Remove the products from the delivery address without our written permission
• Modify or alter the products in a way that diminishes their value

4.2 Transfer of Ownership

Ownership of the products will transfer to you automatically upon receipt of your final payment. You will receive written confirmation of ownership transfer.

5. Product Quality and Warranties

5.1 Quality Guarantee

All products sold by Patmos Varieties are original and sourced from reputable manufacturers and authorized distributors. We guarantee that products will be free from defects at the time of delivery.

5.2 Manufacturer Warranties

Most products come with manufacturer warranties. These warranties remain valid regardless of your payment status, subject to the manufacturer\'s terms and conditions.

5.3 Our Warranty

In addition to manufacturer warranties, Patmos Varieties provides a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase within 30 days, please contact us to discuss available options.

6. Delivery and Installation

6.1 Delivery

We will deliver products to the address specified in your agreement. Delivery times are estimates and may vary. We will notify you prior to delivery.

6.2 Installation

Installation services are included for applicable products (e.g., air conditioners, large appliances). Our technicians will ensure proper installation and provide usage instructions.

6.3 Inspection

You must inspect products upon delivery and report any visible damage or defects immediately. Acceptance of delivery constitutes confirmation that products are in good condition.

7. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer under a hire-purchase agreement, you agree to:

• Maintain the products in good condition
• Use products only for their intended purpose
• Allow reasonable access for inspection or maintenance
• Insure products against damage, loss, or theft (if required by agreement)
• Notify us immediately if products are damaged, stolen, or need repairs
• Provide accurate information throughout the application process

8. Returns and Cancellations

9. Default and Repossession

9.1 Events of Default

You will be in default if you:

• Fail to make two or more consecutive payments
• Provide false or misleading information
• Breach any term of the hire-purchase agreement
• Become insolvent or bankrupt
• Relocate without notifying us of your new address

9.2 Our Rights Upon Default

If you default, we may:

• Demand immediate payment of all outstanding amounts
• Repossess the products without further notice
• Report the default to credit bureaus
• Take legal action to recover outstanding amounts
• Charge reasonable costs associated with repossession and collection

10. Limitation of Liability

Patmos Varieties shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use products purchased under hire-purchase agreements.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By entering into a hire-purchase agreement, you consent to our use of your information for credit assessment, account management, and marketing purposes.

12. Dispute Resolution
